We should all support the requirement of a core solution for "anti EU cookies"
... it helps the site owner to 'show willing' by controlling extension cookies.
There are some core hacks needed for a complete solution. I'm also sure that a lot of Joomla 1.5 site owners want to wait a while before upgrading to J 1.6+ if at all before the support for 1.5 will be stopped.
